I felt that bench work is important and interesting, but perhaps not ideal for me. It was becoming apparent to me that I would prefer to work in a job involving science, but is also about the things that connect between science and its implication on human life.
I started with meeting with people with jobs that were potentially interesting, for an informal discussions. Also, I completed two small, informal, unpaid internships to understand my options better. Then, once I had my mind set on science policy and administration, I completed a master’s degree in public administration.
